Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP)»


The Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is for a common-law spouse, step-child or handicapped child of an Employment Pass or S Pass holder. Principal Pass holders earning over $10,000 AND $12,000 over from 1st January 2018 can also get a pass for parents. Can renew Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) when the principal EP application is renewed. Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) renewal is granted till the validity of principal EP applicant. Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) processing time is 3 weeks.


The Long Term Visit Pass can be applied for only by the work visa holder’s employer or the appointed visa agent.

The maximum validity is 2 years with an opportunity to renew the pass.

The minimum salary that allows a work visa holder accompany relative is 6,000 SGD.
Long Term Pass holders can work in Singapore if they can get a job.

Long Term Visit Pass (LTVP) Documents:

Common law spouse (CLS) Common-law marriage certificate issued by the main pass holder/applicant’s country (if applicable)
A letter from the embassy acknowledging the common-law relationship between the main pass holder and the applicant under the laws of their country
Affidavit CLS Affidavit stating that the work pass holder’s common-law relationship is recognised in his/her or the spouse’s home country. This affidavit must also be notarized in that same country
Child Child 12 years old and below (born overseas)
Verification of Vaccination Requirements (for entry to Singapore) document issued by the Health Promotion Board (HPB)
Unmarried stepchild Unmarried stepchild under 21 years old Court Order on the child’s custody
A letter of no objection from the other biological parent in
bringing the child to Singapore
Unmarried handicapped Child Unmarried handicapped children above 21 years old
A letter or report of assessment from a medical practitioner on
the applicant’s condition
Parents Main pass holder’s birth certificate that states the names of the parents.
